Make the first trip a rehearsal

Choose a close-to-home campground when practical. Confirm exactly which services are at the booked site, identify the RV’s connection locations before departure, and test only through the procedures documented for the RV and its components.

Map the two equipment routes

Plan fresh water and sanitation as separate jobs. Keep their equipment physically apart in use and storage. Treat electrical service, chocking, and leveling as confirm-first work because the right equipment and procedure depend on the RV, site, ratings, and manufacturer guidance.

Carry the unknowns forward

Use the printable checklist to record what is included, missing, still needs confirmation, or can wait. If departure falls outside a verified delivery window, use an appropriate local fallback instead of relying on an optimistic shipping promise.
