Choose a fresh-water setup without guessing
Confirm before choosing. Follow RV and component manuals and verify any potable-water, material, operating-range, or certification claim in current manufacturer documentation.
Start with the water source
Identify whether the trip uses a campground city-water connection, an onboard fresh-tank fill, bottled drinking water, or an unresolved plan. These are different jobs and should not produce the same default list.
Measure and document
- Measure the required reach rather than rounding up automatically.
- Confirm inlet and thread information from the RV and component documentation.
- Review manufacturer guidance before choosing pressure-control or filtration components.
- Treat a filter as optional until its documented purpose and limits match the owner’s goal.
Protect the Clean Side
Keep drained fresh-water equipment in labeled, protected Clean Side storage away from sanitation equipment. Unknown measurements or claims remain confirmation tasks, not recommendations.
